Prácticas curriculares

Curricular internships are configured as academic activities integrated in a specific Study Plan. In addition, they have the following characteristics:

  • They can be either mandatory or optional.
  • They have an equivalence in credits as determined by the study plan that the specific degree that is being studied.

The National Astronomical Observatory allows for curricular and extracurricular internships for students studying for their Bachelor's or Master's degrees at universities with which the National Geographic Institute has signed an agreement. These universities are:

Internships can be carried out in different thematic areas thanks to the variety of research lines in the field of radio astronomy developed at the National Astronomical Observatory. The thematic areas are mainly star formation, evolved stars, external galaxies, interstellar medium and astrochemistry.
